Professor Roger Johansson featured in SVT’s Historien om Sverige

In SVT’s documentary series Historien om Sverige, over 300 experts contribute to the storytelling of Sweden’s history, including Roger Johansson, professor at the Department of Educational Science at Lund University.

Roger, with his background in history, is featured in the final episode, Världens modernaste land (The World's Most Modern Country), which covers the period from the 1920s to the present day. He shares his expertise on the Ådalen 1931 events, a subject on which he wrote his doctoral thesis.

Roger Johansson is a professor in Educational Science and the research leader of the doctoral school Research on Collaboration in Teacher Education (ROCIT) at Lund University. His extensive academic career has focused on Swedish history, especially concerning class conflicts and political events during the 20th century. His expertise in the Ådalen events has also led to important publications on the subject.

He currently works at Lund University, where he continues his research and teaching in educational science.
