The application for the spring courses in higher education pedagogy is now open! These courses are offered by the Department of Higher Education Development and are suitable for those who teach at Lund University and wish to obtain a permanent teaching position, become qualified as supervisors for doctoral students, or further enhance their teaching abilities.
To be eligible for a permanent teaching position at Lund University, you need to complete a minimum of five weeks of higher education pedagogy training. In our course offerings, this corresponds to the following two courses:
- Teaching and learning in higher education
- Course design in higher education
Teaching doctoral students is expected to require completion of at least the first of these courses.
To become a supervisor for doctoral students, you will need to complete supervisor training. In our offerings, this is represented by the course:
- Doctoral supervision
In our qualification-offering course catalog, you will also find several other courses that you can take to further develop your teaching skills. New for this year are the courses: Project Course - Educational Development in Higher Education and Integrating Sustainability Competencies in Curriculum (ISCC).
